It feels wierd that people called my entry pretty hehe. All i used was word, clip-art from the microsoft web site and some totally free to use fonts :P
Thank you though.
I liked Keeton must Die - His Bears were cooler than mine
It's been over a week, so we've had plenty of time for nominations. I'm traveling on business right now, so my online time is limited. Nevertheless, I will tally the nominations in the next couple of days. Once I've done that, could we get one of our wise and benevolent admins to put together a poll, please?
We are one week away from the announcement of the winner of the main contest, so I think it’s about time we wrapped this up. Here are the nominees for the first annual Mickey awards for 24-hour rpg. Please note that, despite the much-appreciated nods to Hundedammerung, I feel that my game isn’t eligible for this as the Mickeys were my idea. I have settled on three nominees per category except in cases where there were fewer than three games suggested. The nominees are…
“I Feel Pretty”: Geodesic Gnomes, Keeton Must Die, Verge
“Worth a Thousand Words”: Doom and Cookies, Hypothermia, Keeton Must Die
“Secret Identity”: Doom and Cookies, Extended Mission
“My God, It’s Full of Stars”: Hypothermia, Keeton Must Die, Out of Frame
“Honey, Where’s My Dicebag?”: Big Hearts in Big Country, Keeton Must Die, Verge
We can commence voting as soon as our beloved admins get the poll up and running.
Dear tygertyger burning bright, Starglim and Nephilim who spawned the giants among men, and all others interested
I am not sure where my 24-hour status of "French Invade Texas" is posted on this site, but the more than 72-hour version in 80 pages can be found at www.darkdungeon.ws
I'd love to hear a Texan's point of view on the game
Wow. I am completely blown away by the amount of interest in my silly little game. Thank you for all the nominations, I am attempting to keep my head from swelling. On a related note, Keeton Must Die! was created using only MS Word and Adobe Fireworks.
Sorted tyger! Many thanks for running the people's choice. I've put the polls up for 60 days, which should give everyone a chance to vote and announcement for Christmas.
Also, I'll advertise the polls in tomorrow's blog entry.
My thanks to the admins for getting the poll up! I believe that we've had plenty of time for voting, but a few more days can't hurt. What say we close the voting on next Friday, 11/13 (it strikes me as auspicious somehow...)?
